Real PLC hardware. Real I/O. Real learning.
SyncHub Automation designs and builds purpose-built PLC training and testing stations with real industrial hardware, real conveyor systems and real sensors. Students, technicians and engineers can programme, fault-find and commission these exactly the way they would on a live plant.
Every station ships with a pre-loaded programme, a commissioning checklist and full documentation. Plug in, power on, start teaching.
Built for whoever needs to learn, test or demonstrate on real hardware.
Give students hands-on experience with the same Siemens hardware they'll encounter on the plant floor. PLC programming, HMI development, PROFINET configuration, distributed I/O, sensor integration, and conveyor control — all on one desk.
Train your maintenance technicians and control engineers on real systems without taking production equipment offline. Fault-finding exercises, PLC programme uploads, HMI design, and network diagnostics in a safe training environment.
Need to show your hardware in action? We built a station for Siemens Johannesburg to showcase their 21-inch touch panel and S7-1500 controller. Your product, our platform, their audience.
Every subsystem a trainee will encounter in the field, in one station. The design mirrors real plant architecture.
Siemens S7-1200 or S7-1500 with integrated power supply. Powers on, PLC boots, and the pre-loaded programme initialises. Every station is tested and signed off against a 12-section QA checklist before it ships.
Configurable from the compact TP 170B up to a 21-inch widescreen, depending on the training scope. Pre-loaded with an I/O toggle programme so every digital input and output can be exercised from the panel on day one.
Two 8-channel digital output modules (16 DO total) with individual LED indicators. Two 8-channel digital input modules (16 DI total). Every channel is wired, labelled, and verified during commissioning.
Physical potentiometers wired to dedicated analogue input channels. Students can adjust a real signal and watch the PLC read it — not a software slider on a screen.
A Siemens ET 200 module connected to the PLC over PROFINET, breakout via a DB29 connector to the conveyor belt. Teaches real distributed I/O architecture: network configuration, hardware detection, remote signal routing.
A physical conveyor that jogs forward and reverse, controlled from the PLC or HMI via the ET 200. Four front-panel push buttons, four pilot lights, three inductive proximity sensors and a light barrier — all wired through the distributed I/O.
Internal PROFINET between PLC and ET 200. External Ethernet jack for laptop programming access. Wireless dongle with labelled network credentials for untethered access.
Every input, output, connector, power button and network port is labelled. Each station is numbered. Wireless credentials are printed and attached. The 12-section QA sign-off document ships with the station.

When Siemens Johannesburg needed a demonstration platform for their 21-inch touch panel and S7-1500 controller, they came to SyncHub Automation.
The station featured a 21-inch widescreen touch panel, an S7-1500 controller, and a live process with real I/O — giving Siemens' sales and technical teams a working platform to present from.
If the OEM trusts us to showcase their own product, the training station you put in front of your students is in good hands.
